Changes

Change is inevitable. Sometimes we fight it, and sometimes we welcome it. A big change has happened in my life. I have decided to leave TEEX (where I have been for 7 years) and start working for our church, Central Baptist. It was a hard decision, but one I feel that God guided me on. For the past year, I have been very overwhelmed trying to accomplish all my job duties at my part time schedule. TEEX was wonderful enough to move me to part time after we had Reagan, but it was only for as long as it worked. And I knew that it was not working anymore... there was not enough time in the day and everyone around me was overwhelmed also. Well, one day a friend of mine (an angel I am convinced ;) mentioned a job that might come open and I would be perfect for it. I didn't think I would ever be able to make it work, money and insurance wise.. but behold God's plan.. it all worked out and I took the job. It was the hardest decision that I have made and I will miss all the lovely friends I have made at TEEX. They have all taught me so much and I will truly miss them. But I am excited about the new chapter in my life.. I will now be working at the church where my girls go to school. I will now be off by 4 pm on Friday's. No more working late and worrying if I have a sick kid to take care of. I can now re focus on my family... being the mother, wife, and friend that I want to be.

Day in Austin

Today we took the girls to the Austin zoo. We met Tim, Leslie, Aiden, Ann, Jamie, Brad, and Sydney.... it was so fun!! (Besides being freezing in the morning!!) The kids loved the animals and they had a train ride that was neat. After the zoo we took the kids to Gattiland.. that is always fun for them!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!! We took Jeremy to breakfast at Crackerbarrel... YUMMY... and had dinner with Mimi, PaPaw, Aunt Debby, Uncle Joe, Matthew, and Cody. The girls helped me make a cake for daddy for dessert!!!
Hope you had a great birthday Jeremy!! We love you very much and are so blessed to have you in our lives!!
