Grace and Jenna

Tonight Grace and I started Kindermusik. Its a program for children and a parent to sing, dance, and play some instruments. We are taking the class with Jenna, who Grace used to go to day care with, and Grace was soo excited to see her!! We can't wait to go back next Thursday.

We just wanted to thank Nanny so very much for coming every week for three weeks and watching the girls... They loved having you and we loved having you!!! It was nice to come home from work and all our clothes were washed and dinner started and house cleaned!!

1st Day of New Babysitter

Wednesday the girls started at their new day care...

They were both very excited and very good!!

Change in Schedule

As most of you know, our wonderful babysitter Linda that we have used since Grace was born, is no longer able to watch children due to some medical issues. Also, since I have been back at work I have had a very hard time leaving the girls every day. Well our prayers have been answered and we found a wonderful new babysitter, and I am reducing my work schedule to 60%!! I will now be off on Monday and Tuesday and only work Wed- Friday. We are all very excited about my new schedule and I am so thankful I am able to spend more time with our girls. Thank you all for your prayers and sweet thoughts during our stressful month!!! Without our family and friends, we never would have made it through the month!!!
Special thanks to Nanny for coming back and forth for 3 weeks and Mimi for taking off on Fridays!!! The girls were so excited to spend more time with you both!!!

Sunday we dedicated Reagan at church. It was a wonderful day with a wonderful sermon. We are so thankful for everyone that made the trip and helped us celebrate. We are so blessed with so many family and friends.

A very special thanks to Mimi and PaPaw for letting us have it at their house, cooking food, and helping us set up!!! Also thank you Nanny for helping me get everything together and running around all weekend getting stuff!!! We love you all!!!

Jumperoo

We finally got the jumperoo out of the attic and cleaned up for Reagan. We put her in and she loved it!!!

Reagan is 5 Months!!

January 19, 2009

Today Reagan turns 5 months!!! She has been an extremely good baby for us (except that she does not sleep as well as Grace did... we are still up at least once a night) and is smiling all the time!! She loves her big sister and loves to laugh. She is now eating cereal at night (or we are trying to get her to) and she has tried peaches so far. She is finally over her runny nose and feeling much better.

Sick Children

Within the last two weeks both girls have been sick. It started with Grace and she had an ear infection and a cold that lasted the entire week. The next weekend Reagan was very fussy and did not sleep at all. We took her to the doctor and she had an ear infection in each ear with puss in both ears along with a severe cough. Finally we are all better and hope to stay that way!!!

Grace's New Song

While Nanny has been babysitting Grace and Reagan, she taught Grace "Jesus Loves Me". Ignore my voice in the background....she learned this is one day!!! We are so very proud of her!!

Somehow, we went to Toys R Us looking for a small table for the girls and we ended up bringing this bike home!! Slightly spoiled I think!!!
